At present there are five hostels to accommodate boys and girls coming from remote places. Living together in dormitories under the supervision of resident teachers and having common dining arrangements, the pupils will be quietly initiated into the Upanishadic ideal of universal fraternity and trained in disciplined life. Boys/Girls will have to serve meals in the dining hall by turns and cleanse their own stainless steel utensils. Collective prayer, drill, games, regular study excursion and cultural programms are some of the compulsory items the inmates of the hostel have to follow.
For promoting proper interaction, team spirit, loyalty and healthy competition among the students, they are divided in to four houses after the names of famous rivers i.e Ganga, Yamuna, Krishna and Kaveri. Every student at the time of admission is placed in one of these houses. Each house is headed by a boy/girl known as House Captain. AVice house captain is also selected for the help of the house captain. The activities of the house are directed and guided by a teacher appointed as the House Master. During the course of the academic year, several inter-house sports, arts and cultural competitions are held. Points are awarded to the students throughout the year for these extra curricular activities. At the end of the academic year, the house which gets the maximum points is awarded a running trophy.
The guardian should apply in the prescribed application form to the hostel superintendent after the admission in the school. Since accommodation is limited, we do not hold responsibility for the admission in the hostel. The guardian should follow the rules and regulations of the hostel framed by the school authority.
