Admission to Adwaita Mission Training College :
Eligibility for Admission :
• Candidates who have passed the Bachelor Examination in Science & Arts with minimum 50% marks from any recognized University of India or equivalent degree from any foreign University recognized by the T. M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur will be eligible for admission to the B. Ed. course.
• The relevant subject in which the candidate passed the graduation examination should be selected as the optional subject for the B. Ed. course.
• Graduates in History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy will be admitted to group with Social Science as optional subject.
• Graduates in Mathematics and Statistics as subsidiary subjects and B.Sc. Applied statistics are eligible for admission to B. Ed. course with Mathematics as optional subject.
• Graduates in Physics and Chemistry with relevant combination of subsidiary subjects and B.Sc. in Polymer Chemistry and B.Sc. Industrial Chemistry are eligible for admission to B.Ed. course with Physical Science as optional subject.
• Graduates, in Zoology, Botany or Life Science with relevant subsidiary subjects and B.Sc. Biochemistry, B.Sc. Aquaculture with Biochemistry and Zoology as subsidiary subjects are eligible for admission to B. Ed. course with Natural Science as optional subject.
• Graduates in English Literature and B.A. functional English are eligible for admission with English as optional subject.
• Graduates in Hindi or Sanskrit Literature are eligible for Hindi and Sanskrit.
Rules of eligibility are followed strictly as per merit and roster of reservation. The College, however, reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason. All students admitted to the college shall have to sign a form containing the code of conduct. This form will be furnished to them by the office. Any violation of the code will justify their expulsion from the college.
Mode of Application :
Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form only. Prospectus with application form can be had from the college office on payment of Rs. 300/- on any working day between 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. Applications received after the closing date or incomplete forms will be rejected.
The following documents should be submitted along with the application.
1. One self addressed & stamped envelope of Rs. 5/- of size 23x11cm.
2. Community certificate in the case of SC/ST/OBC.
3. Proof of Age & Date of Birth.
4. Self-attested copies of the certificates and marksheet of the Graduation/Post Graduation Examination, certificate of +2 or equivalent examination and certificate of secondary or equivalent examination.
5. Physically disabled candidates should enclose the disability certificate.
6. Two recent passport size self-attested photographs.
Selection Process :
Selection is done through entrance test/academic performance. The short listed candidates are called for interview. The candidates who do not appear in the personal interview are not eligible for admission.
Documents to be produced at the time of Admission
1. Secondary Exam. Certificate / Proof of Date of Birth.
2. Original Mark sheets and Degree Certificates of the qualifying examinations.
3. Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate from the institution where the candidate studied last.
4. Two copies of recent passport size photograph.
5. Relieving order and certificates of good conduct from the Head of the Institution where the applicant was employed in case of those joining the course under Teachers’ quota.
Note: All certificates as above must be produced for verification at the time of admission. Candidates who wish to produce the original certificates at a later date will not be considered.
